Hand-Painted Nail Sets
The creation of nail sets provides me with an opportunity to express myself in terms of color, composition, and details in a very small space. Just like in engineering, designing nail sets helps me integrate creativity and preciseness.
Crocheting
Through crocheting, I have learned about patience, paying attention to details, and the feeling of satisfaction when you create something out of one thread of yarn. I also appreciate being able to work with patterns and personalize my pieces.
Cultural Performances
Being a part of Cal Poly's Pilipino Cultural Exchange (PCE) made me proud to represent Filipino culture through singing, dancing, and acting, but most importantly, it made me form strong bonds with other people. It helped me develop my confidence, cooperation, and collaboration skills.
Alcohol Marker Illustrations
The use of alcohol markers for illustrations allows me to play around with coloring, shading, and composition. Through illustration, I am able to give myself yet another outlet for self-expression through visual means.
