Poly1Rover
Senior Design Project | Mechanical Design | Project Management
Designed a passive ratcheting antenna deployment mechanism for the latest Poly1Rover planetary rover while serving as Project Manager for Cal Poly's Poly1Rover organization, coordinating a multidisciplinary engineering team of over 40 students. The mechanism leveraged existing suspension motion to deploy and lock the antenna, eliminating the need for a dedicated motor while reducing system complexity and power consumption.

Transtibial Prosthetic
Biomedical Design | Engineering Analysis | Anthropometric Measurements
Collaborated on the design of a spring-assisted transtibial prosthetic that improves ankle biomechanics by generating an assistive ankle moment during walking. Contributed to mechanical design, CAD modeling, engineering analysis, and prototype development using commercially available components.

Wearable Navigation System for Visually Impaired Musicians
Designed a wearable assistive technology concept to help visually impaired marching band members maintain formation using time-of-flight sensors and haptic feedback. Business Model Canvas
Conducted a human factors analysis between the ease-of-use of the consumer interfaces for headphones. A user test involving 12 people was designed and carried out to compare task performance time, learnability, and satisfaction among other variables. Analysis of both quantitative and qualitative results was done to determine the usability problems and come up with recommendations. The study identified an initial 20.5-second performance gap, highlighting opportunities to improve interface learnability for first-time users.

Participated in determining the order of analytical methods for characterizing the mineral deposits including their composition, crystalline structure, thermal properties, and surface morphology through XRF, XRD, and SEM. Assessed the role that material degradation and biological mineral deposition might have played in device failure.
