Designed a passive ratcheting antenna deployment mechanism for the latest Poly1Rover planetary rover while serving as Project Manager for Cal Poly's Poly1Rover organization, coordinating a multidisciplinary engineering team of over 40 students. The mechanism leveraged existing suspension motion to deploy and lock the antenna, eliminating the need for a dedicated motor while reducing system complexity and power consumption.

Conducted a human factors analysis between the ease-of-use of the consumer interfaces for headphones. A user test involving 12 people was designed and carried out to compare task performance time, learnability, and satisfaction among other variables. Analysis of both quantitative and qualitative results was done to determine the usability problems and come up with recommendations. The study identified an initial 20.5-second performance gap, highlighting opportunities to improve interface learnability for first-time users.
